Abstract

Zahtjevi za sve većim kapacitetima prijevoza i smanjenjem zagađenja okoliša te potrošnje pogonske energije stavljaju nove ciljeve pred prijevozne procese. Optimizacija željezničkog prometa neophodna je za njegovu konkurentnost prema ostalim modovima prijevoza. Sustavi podrške u vožnji vlaka i automatske vožnje vlaka mogu značajno doprinijeti pozitivnim učincima u procesima željezničkog sustava. Oba sustava (DAS) i (ATO) podrazumijevaju različite razine njihove primjene, pa tako polučuju i različite rezultate. U radu je analiziran razvoj ovakvih sustava, te njihove funkcijske karakteristike. Također, na primjerima postojećih implementacija ovih sustava analizirane su njihove stvarne značajke te princip rada. U posljednjem dijelu rada opisan je utjecaj sustava podrške u vožnji i sustava automatske vožnje vlaka na željeznički promet kroz njihove prednosti i nedostatke.

Abstract (english)

Increasing demands of transportation capacity, the need for reducing and driving energy consumption have set new goals for the transportation process. Optimization of the railway system is necessary for its competitiveness in relation to other modes of transport. Driver advisory system and automatic train operation, can bring significant positive effects in the railway system. Both systems have different levels of their application, therefore both systems give different results. In this thesis development of systems like these is analyzed, as well as their functional characteristics. Also, the working principles and real features of DAS and ATO systems is analyzed. In the final part of the thesis, the effect that the driver advisory system and automatic train operation has on the railway system, was explained through its advantages and disadvantages.
