Abstract

Oznake na kolniku imaju bitan utjecaj na sigurno odvijanje prometa, upozoravaju vozače na stanje i situaciju u prostoru ispred vozila te informiraju, reguliraju i vode vozače do njihovog cilja identificirajući im sigurnu putanju vožnje. Da bi oznake na kolniku ispunjavale svoju funkciju, one moraju biti vidljive danju, noću i pri otežanim vremenskim uvjetima, odnosno moraju imati dobra reflektirajuća svojstva. Na vrijednost retrorefleksije utječu različiti faktori što dovodi do postupnog smanjenja njene jačine, stoga je potrebno provoditi periodička ispitivanja retrorefleksije kako bi se osigurala propisana kvaliteta oznaka. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je na temelju ispitivanja retrorefleksije oznaka na kolniku koje je provodio Zavod za prometnu signalizaciju Fakulteta prometnih znanost, analizirati utjecaj zimske službe održavanja na retrorefleksiju oznaka na kolniku.

Abstract (english)

Road markings have significant impact on traffic flow safety, they alert drivers on the condition and the situation in the area in front of the vehicle as well as inform, regulate and manage drivers to reach their goal by identifying them the safe path of travel. For make road markings to fulfill their tasks, they must be visible during the day, at night and in bad weather conditions, thus they must have good reflective properties. Value of retroreflection is influenced by various factors leading to a gradual degradation of retroreflection during time and therefore it is necessary to periodically tests retroreflection to assure the quality of road markings. The goal of this thesis is to, based upon retroreflection measurements of road markings conducted by the Department for traffic signalization of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, analyze the impact of winter maintenance service on retroreflection of road markings.
