Napredni i sigurnosni sustavi u vozilima služe za olakšavanje upravljanja vozilom, kao i prevenciji sudara i nesreća u prometu, te smanjenju ozbiljnosti njihovih posljedica. Dijele se na aktivne i pasivne sustave. Aktivni čimbenici sigurnosti imaju važnu ulogu pri prevenciji sudara i nesreća pružajući upozorenja ili pomažući vozačima u skretanju te kontroliranju vozila putem senzora, radara, lidara, te kamera. Advanced and safety systems in vehicles serve to facilitate vehicle management, as well as to prevent collisions and accidents in traffic, and to reduce the severity of their consequences. They are divided into active and passive accident systems.
