Abstract

Inteligentni transportni sustavi razvijaju se kao rješenje za probleme zagušenja, sigurnosti, očuvanja okoliša i druge. Značajan doprinos učinkovitosti ITS sustava pruža identifikacija vozila. U ovom radu prikazana je uloga identifikacije u inteligentnim transportnim sustavima. Opisane su tehnologije koje mogu imati ulogu u identifikaciji vozila poput detektora prometnog toka, RFID (engl. Radio-Frequency Identification), NFC (engl. Near Field Communication), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi i tehnologija automatskog prepoznavanja registarskih oznaka (engl. Automatic Number Plate Recognition, ANPR). Za svaku od navedenih tehnologija prikazane su prednosti i nedostaci, te su odabrani kriteriji za njihovu evaluaciju. Prezentirana je problematika privatnosti i usklađenost sa aktualnom zakonskom regulativom. Prikazani su rezultati evaluacije tehnologija po odabranim kriterijima.

Abstract (english)

Intelligent transport systems are developing as a solution for traffic congestions, safety manners, environmental protection, etc. The field of vehicle identification stands out as a part of intelligent transport systems and it is backed by the application of various modern technologies. The role of vehicle identification in intelligent transportation systems is shown in this paper. Technologies such as traffic flow detectors, RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification), NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) are presented systematically. In this research, all of the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies are presented as the objective criteria for the evaluation is established. The privacy concerns are discussed but the technology can be used responsibly under the current legislation. Results of the evaluation are shown in the end of the paper.
