Abstract

Prometno-prostorno planiranje je nezaobilazan proces u gospodarenju prostorom urbane sredine. Prometni sustav uzročno-posljedično utječe na razvoj urbane sredine, život i gospodarstvo te ostale važne funkcije grada. Cilj prometno-prostornog planiranja jest efikasno rješavanje prometnih zahtjeva unutar zadanog prostora i utvrđivanje interakcije između prijevozne potražnje i društveno-gospodarskih značajki zajednice. U ovom radu opisano je prometno-prostorno planiranje Grada Zagreba kroz analizu prometno-prostorne dokumentacije i postojećeg stanja prometnog sustava. Temeljem analize predložene su smjernice u svrhu poboljšanja kvalitete prometnog sustava i urbanog prostora Grada Zagreba.

Abstract (english)

Traffic-spatial planning is an inevitable process in managing the urban environment. The traffic system has a causal effect on the development of the urban environment, life and economy and other important city functions. The goal of traffic-spatial planning is to efficiently address traffic requirements within the given space and to establish the interaction between transport demand and socio-economic features of the community. In this paper, the traffic-spatial planning of the City of Zagreb is described through the analysis of traffic-spatial documentation and the current state of the traffic system. Based on the analysis, guidelines were proposed to improve the quality of the traffic system and urban enviroment of the City of Zagreb.
