U diplomskom radu prikazana je postojeća infrastruktura kolodvora Sesvete i način unapređenja infrastrukture i kapaciteta kolodvora, s obzirom na položaj kolodvora u zagrebačkom čvoru i prometno opterećenje. Da bi se povećala propusna moć kolodvora, potrebno je riješiti problem uskog grla u kolodvoru, ugraditi određene skretnice i izlazne signale, što je u diplomskom radu i napravljeno u programskom paketu Open Track. Abstract (english)

In this thesis, the current infrastructure situation of the Sesvete railway station is shown and the way how to improve infrastructure and capacities of the railway station in accordance with the location of the station on the Zagreb node and associated traffic. To increase the throughput of the railway station it is necessary to fix the problem of the bottleneck inside the station, construct new switches and exit signals. Simulating train movements through the station Sesvete, the train graph is made for the current situation as well as for the new simulated model after the construction of the switches and exit signals, which resulted with increased station and the railway line throughput.
