Abstract
Prije polijetanja zrakoplova u zimskim uvjetima potrebno je osigurati stanje čistog zrakoplova. Kontaminanti na kritičnim površinama zrakoplova moraju biti uklonjeni jer mogu uzrokovati smrzavanje upravljačkih površina, negativno utjecati na aerodinamiku zrakoplova, utjecati na točnost instrumenata potrebnih za let ili oštetiti motor zrakoplova. Odleđivanje zrakoplova obavlja se mehaničkim metodama, fluidima, alternativnim tehnologijama ili kombinacijama navedenih metoda. Zaštita zrakoplova od ponovnog zaleđivanja se obavlja isključivo fluidima. Kako bi se osigurao pravilan proces odleđivanja i zaštite zrakoplova od zaleđivanja, osoblje koje sudjeluje u procesu mora biti pravilno osposobljeno, tekućine koje se koriste moraju zadovoljavati određene standarde, a oprema mora biti ispravna. Ispunjenjem tih uvjeta osigurava se sigurnost zrakoplova pri polijetanju u zimskim uvjetima.

Clean Aircraft Concept should be assured before take-off in winter conditions. Contaminants on critical surfaces must be removed because they can cause freezing on control surfaces, negatively affect the aircraft aerodynamics, affect the accuracy of flight instruments or damage the aircraft engine. De-icing of an aircraft can be performed with mechanical methods, fluids, alternative technologies or combination of this methods. Anti-icing is performed with anti-icing fluids. To assure a correct de/anti-icing process, de/anti-icing personnel must be properly trained, de/anti-icing fluids must meet certain standards and the equipment used must be checked for proper performance. When these requirements are satisfied a safe take off in winter weather conditions is ensured.
