Abstract
Kroz rad je analizirana primjena hibridnih vozila u javnom prometu. Navedene su i objašnjene ekološke prednosti i nedostaci hibridnih vozila u odnosu na vozila sa klasičnim motorom na unutrašnje izgaranje. Razrađene su primjene hibridnih vozila u javnom teretnom prometu, analiziran je ekološki aspekt takvih vozila, te njihova krajnja isplativost. Cilj primjene hibridnih vozila je smanjiti emisije ispušnih plinova, smanjenje zagađenja okoliša, smanjenje utroška fosilnih goriva što ujedno i rezultira ugodnijem životu ljudi. Broj hibridnih vozila u javnom teretnom i putničkom prometu svake godine se značajno povećava, što dovodi do zaključka da takva vozila opravdavaju svoj razvoj.

Parallel abstract (English)
Through the work analyzed the application of hybrid vehicles in public transport. These are listed and explained the environmental benefits and drawbacks of hybrid vehicles compared to vehicles with conventional internal combustion engine on. Elaborated the application of hybrid vehicles in public freight transport, analyzed the environmental aspect of such vehicles, and their ultimate profitability. The application of hybrid vehicles to reduce exhaust emissions, reducing environmental pollution, reducing consumption of fossil fuels, which also results in a more comfortable life of people. The number of hybrid vehicles in public freight and passenger traffic each year is significantly increased, leading to the conclusion that such vehicles justify its development.
