Abstract
U ovom radu je dan osvrt na sigurnosne čimbenike odvijanja prometa u srednje dugim i dugim tunelima na autocesti A1. Kroz poglavlja su analizirani čimbenici koji omogućuju sigurno odvijanje prometa, kao što su tehničke karakteristike samih tunela, sigurnosna i protupožarna oprema, rasvjeta, ventilacija i dr. Analiziran je utjecaj samih vozača na sigurnost odvijanja prometa u tunelima, te je dan pregled zakonskih i drugih obveza koje vrijede za vožnju u tunelu. Istaknut je i europski program EuroTAP, te njegova važnost i uloga u povećanju sigurnosti u tunelima, kao i ostvareni rezultati srednje dugih i dugih tunela na trasi.

This paper is about safety factors of traffic flow in medium length and long tunnels on A1 Motorway. The factors that enable safe traffic flow, such as technical characteristics of tunnels, safety and firefighting equipment, lighting, ventilation, etc. have been analyzed through chapters. The driver effect on traffic flow safety has been analyzed and legal and other obligations valid for driving in tunnels presented. There is also a chapter about EuroTAP programme and its importance for improving safety in tunnels, as well as the results realized for medium length and long tunnels on the route.
