Abstract

Intermodalni prijevoz je način prijevoza robe pri čemu se istodobno kombiniraju dva transportna sredstva iz različitih prometnih grana na način da se samom robom ne manipulira prilikom pretovara, nego se cjelokupna transportna jedinica utovaruje na drugo transportno sredstvo te čini teret za to drugo transportno sredstvo. Pri tome su, kod intermodalnog prijevoza, moguće kombinacije cestovno-željezničkog ili cestovno-pomorskog prijevoza.

Abstract (english)

Intermodal transport is the mode of transporting goods that simultaneously combines two different transport vehicles from differing modes of transport in such a way that the goods do not endure any manipulation during reloading, but the complete transport unit is loaded onto another transport vehicle and serves as a load on the second vehicle. In this sense, intermodal transport may combine road-railroad or road-maritime transport.
