Abstract

Ljudska potreba za mobilnošću stvorila je potrebu kvalitetnog osvjetljenja po danu, a tako i noću pomoću umjetnih izvora svjetlosti. Cestovna rasvjeta je čimbenik sigurnosti prometa koja stvara uvjete za bolje zapažanje te na taj način utječe na smanjenje broja prometnih nesreća ili ublažava njihove posljedice. Analiziranjem fizikalnih obilježja svjetlosti, značajki cestovne rasvjete, tehničke izvedbe te drugih bitnih pokazatelja vidi se na koji način rasvjeta utječe na sigurnost prometa te na samog čovjeka.

Abstract (english)

Human need for mobility created a need for quality lighting during the day and also during the night with the help of artificial sources of light. Road lighting is a factor of traffic safety which creates conditions for better perception and lowers the number of traffic accidents or mitigates their consequences. With the analisys of the physical characteristics of light, features of road lighting, technical performance and other important indicators it can be seen in what way lighting affects the traffic safety and the human himself.
