Oznake na kolniku imaju bitan utjecaj na sigurno odvijanje prometa, upozoravaju vozače na stanje i situaciju u prostoru ispred vozila te informiraju, reguliraju i vode vozače do njihovog cilja identificirajući im sigurnu putanju vožnje. Abstract (english)

Road markings have significant impact on traffic flow safety, they alert drivers on the condition and the situation in the area in front of the vehicle as well as inform, regulate and manage drivers to reach their goal by identifying them the safe path of travel. For make road markings to fulfill their tasks, they must be visible during the day, at night and in bad weather conditions, thus they must have good reflective properties.
