Abstract
Razvoj cestovnih vozila počinje prije nešto više od sto godina. U tom periodu, iz godine u godinu, vozila su sve brža no isto tako dolazi i do povećanja broja vozila na prometnicama. Navedene promjene dovode do povećanja broja nesreća. Kako bi se smanjio broj nesreća i ublažile njihove posljedice, počinje razvoj različitih tehnologija sukladnih vremenu u kojem se pojavljuju. Počeci tih tehnologija su vezani uz mehaničke inovacije ali razvoj elektronike uzrokuje pojavu sve kompleksnijih sklopova koji dovode do ulaska u područje umjetne inteligencije. Upravo pojava umjetne inteligencije, tj. inteligentnih vozila, dovodi do potrebe razvoja komunikacije među vozilima kao i komunikacije na relaciji vozila i prometne infrastrukture. Iako se ovdje radi o projektima i tehnologijama koje su gotovo "futurističke" ne smije se zaboraviti da su prije samo desetak godina uređaji za pomoć pri parkiranju ili pak HUD sustavi također bili gotovo nezamislivi u svakodnevnoj upotrebi i gotovo standardnoj opremi vozila.

Parallel abstract (English)
The development of road vehicles starts a little over a hundred years ago. During this period, year after year, vehicles are getting faster but also comes an increase in the number of vehicles on the roads. All this leads to an increase in the number of accidents. To reduce the number of accidents and mitigate their consequences, starts the development of different technologies conforming with time in which they occur. The beginnings of these technologies are related to mechanical innovation but the development of electronics causes the appearance of ever more complex circuits that lead to entry into the field of artificial intelligence. Precisely the phenomenon of artificial intelligence, ie, intelligent vehicles, leads to needs of the development of communication between vehicles and communication between vehicles and the traffic infrastructure. Although it is about projects and technologies that are almost "futuristic" must not be forgotten that only a decade ago devices for parking assistance or HUD systems have also been almost unthinkable in everyday use and almost standard equipment of the vehicle.
