Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
Parking is one of the key traffic problems in the city of Zagreb. This thesis offers possible solutions to the problem of parking in the city of Zagreb. After analysis, there are two proposed tariff models for the solution and three proposed construction solutions. Among the tariff arrangements, first offered solution is changing the tariff regime of hour charging in the first and second parking zone, and reducing the number of privileged parking tickets. Second solution offers division of current parking zones to the sub-zones of parking, and the introduction of privileged parking tickets for individual sub-zones. Among the three offered construction solutions, two are specific and a third solution was not developed in detail. The first offered construction solution is building an underground garage in St. Marko Square, whose main objective is to relieve the existing road network in the Gornji Grad. Furthermore after the construction of the garage there is a possibility of removing vehicles from the Gornji Grad. Second construction solution is setting up prefabricated garages on the principle of '' Fast Park '' in French Republic Square, which increases existing capacity by 100%. Third solution is Simparking Tower garage. With proposed solutions rough estimate of investment is also suggested at the end of thesis.
