Abstract

Generator osigurava zrakoplovu električnu energiju pretvorbom mehaničke energije motora u električnu. Preko distribucijske mreže zrakoplova snabdijeva potrošače, a to su u zrakoplovu komunikacijsko-navigacijski sustavi, letački i motorni instrumenti, osvjetljenje, žiroskopski instrumenti i elektropokretač. U slučaju otkaza generatora pilot se nalazi u izvanrednoj situaciji, međutim mora ostati priseban i iskoristit moguće resurse kako bi riješio nastalu situaciju, uputiti se natrag na slijetanje ili u slučaju velike udaljenosti od uzletno-sletnih staza pronaći alternativu. Proizvođači zrakoplova definirali su tehničke karakteristike zrakoplova, redovne i izvanredne postupke koji osiguravaju pilotima i ostalom letačkom osoblju sigurno rješenje izvanrednih situacija.

Abstract (english)

The generator supplies electricity to the aircraft by converting mechanical energy from the engine to electrical energy. Through the aircraft distribution network, it supplies consumers, which are communication and navigation systems, flight and engine instruments, lighting, gyroscopic instruments and starter. In the event of a generator failure, the pilot is in an emergency situation, but must remain calm and use possible resources to resolve the situation, head back to the landing or, in the case of a long distance from the runways, find an alternative. The aircraft manufacturers have defined aircraft specifications, regular and emergency procedures, which provide pilots and other flight crew members with a safe solution to emergencies.
