Abstract

Glavni cilj ovog rada je određivanje performansi zrakoplovnog klipnog motora u letu, te usporedba sa onim performansama objavljenim u službenim priručnicima zrakoplova i motora. Glavna svrha ovog rada je odrediti koliko podaci o performansama koje nam daje proizvođač odstupaju od stvarnih u letu. U radu su predstavljene metode određivanja snage zrakoplovnog klipnog motora, kao najvažnijeg eksploatacijskog parametra koji služi pilotima za izvršenje leta sa elisno-klipnim pogonskim sustavom. Opisane su i metoda određivanja snage mjerenjem zakretnog momenta, metoda određivanja snage pomoću motorskog dijagrama i metoda određivanja snage na osnovi protoka goriva. Za analizu su korištene metoda određivanja snage pomoću motorskog dijagrama i metoda određivanja snage na osnovi protoka goriva. Metoda određivanja snage motora mjerenjem zakretnog momenta se nije koristila zbog ekonomsko-tehničkih aspekata ugradnje istog. Analizirani su podaci dobiveni iz uređaja EDM 900, snage motora dobivene pomoću zakonitosti promjene maksimalne raspoložive snage motora s visinom i dobiveni iz grafova koje su objavili proizvođači. U radu su objašnjene karakteristike i princip rada zrakoplovnog klipnog motora, sam zrakoplov i uređaj koji služi kao sredstvo analize radi boljeg razumijevanja rezultata. Usporedbom podataka uočeno je da podaci iz dijagrama odstupaju od onih izračunatih i dobivenih iz uređaja EDM 900. Kao konačan cilj rada nameće se potreba osvijestiti pilote zrakoplova koliko performanse u određenim uvjetima mogu odstupati od onih koje je proizvođač objavio.

Abstract (english)

The main goal of this research is determination of aircraft piston engine performance in flight, and to interpet it for the purpose of comparison with performance which aircraft and engine manufacturers published. The objective of this research is to determine how much performance which manufacturers published deviate from actual in flight. Methods of power determination are presented, as it is the most important performance data which the pilots use in piston engine powered aircraft. Described methods of this analysis are torque meter method, engine chart method and fuel flow method. Only fuel flow method and engine chart method are used because for torque meter method a torque meter is required. Data from engine monitoring device EDM 900, data from mathematical formulas and engine chart data are used. Characteristics and working principle of aircraft piston engine, aircraft itself and engine monitoring device are explained to better understaund results of this research. In this analysis there are also explanations regarding piston engine working principle, aircraft that is used and engine monitoring device EDM 900 to have better understaunding of results. Data comparison resulted in conclusion that manufacturers chart deviate from one gained from mathematical formulas and EDM 900. The cause of this deviation is that manufacturers chart are made for only specific case. The ultimate purpose of the research is to awake pilots, how much performance in certain conditions can deviate from the manufacturers.
