Abstract

Razvoju pneumatika kakve danas poznajemo predhodilo je otkriće izrade gumene smjese od kaučuka i ostalih materijala, no prave temelje pneumaticima postavljeni su otkrićem postupka vulkanizacije. Upotreba pneumatika u današnje vrijeme je neizostavna pogotovo znajući da ih posjeduju gotovo sva cestovna vozila (automobili, kamioni, motocikli, itd.), pa i radni strojevi kao što su traktori ili bageri. Zbog njihove masovne uporabe u današnje vrijeme proizvođaći pneumatika daju veliku pozornost na maksimiziranju svih njihovih kvaliteta, te s druge strane minimiziranju njihovih mana. Jedno od najvažnijih područja na kojima se priželjkuju što bolji rezultati je definitivno područje sigurnosti cestovnog prometa. Zato se provode razna ispitivanja i testiranja kako bi se dobili rezultati koji su pokazatelji performansi određenih pneumatika u različitim uvjetima okoline, vrstama podloga i pri različitim brzinama vožnje.

Abstract (english)

The development of the pneumatic tires is the result of the discovery of the rubber composition of caoutchouc and other components, but the real foundations of the pneumatic tire are set by the discovery of the vulcanization process. The use of tires today is inevitable, especially knowing that they own almost all road vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles ...) and even working machines such as tractors or dredges. Due to their massive use today, the manufacturers of tires give great attention to maximizing all their quality and, on the other hand, minimizing their flaws. One of the most important areas where the best results are to be expected is definitely the road safety area. Therefore, various tests and examinations are carried out in order to obtain results which are the performance indicators of certain pneumatic tires under different environmental conditions, types of substrates and at different driving speeds.
