Abstract
Na potpuno liberaliziranom tržištu poštanska djelatnost suočena je sa snažnom konkurencijom novih i modernih tehnologija koje jačaju i zauzimaju tržište. Na poboljšanje kvalitete poštanskih usluga i ispunjenje svih zahtjeva korisnika uvelike utječe pojava novih operatora i davatelja poštanskih usluga. Hrvatska pošta, kao javni operator, liberalizacijom poštanskog tržišta mijenja svoju strategiju poslovanja prilagođavajući se tehnološkom okruženju, kako bi se što kvalitetnije približila konkurenciji te je oslabila. U planu je optimizacija mreže, razvoj usluga i proizvoda koristeći informacijsko-komunikacijsku tehnologiju, racionalizacija i modernizacija poštanskih ureda uvođenjem poslovanja u nove prostore trgovačko-zabavnih centara.

In a fully liberalized market, a postal service faces strong competition in form of new and modern technologies that are strengthening and taking over the market. The improvement of the quality of postal services and the fulfillment of all the requirements is greatly affected by the emergence of new operators and providers of postal services. As a public operator, Croatian Post changes its business strategy, due to the liberalization of the postal market, by adapting to the technological environment in order to come as close as possible to its competitors, thus weakening them. The company plans to optimize the network, develop products and services using information and communication technology, and rationalize and modernize post offices by introducing new areas of business in shopping and entertainment centers.
