Abstract

Zbog važnosti povezanosti sve se više govori o različitim vrstama prijevoza putnika. Jedna od potreba krajnjih korisnika je što prije stići na odredište po povoljnim cijenama. Kao najčešće korištene vrste prijevoza putnika spominju se cestovni i željeznički prijevoz putnika. Svaki od njih ima svoje prednosti i nedostatke koji će biti obrađeni u ovome radu. Za pronalaženje konkretnih rješenja potrebno je razmotriti tehnološke elemente prijevoza putnika te jednako tako i prijevoznu potražnju za određenu vrstu prijevoza putnika. Uz dostupnost tih podataka može se pristupati analizi učinkovitosti prijevoza putnika pomoću različitih pokazatelja koji u konačnici dovode do najoptimalnijeg rješenja.

Abstract (english)

Because of the importance of connectivity, more and more people talk about different types of passenger transport. One of the end users' needs is to reach the destination at affordable rates as soon as possible. The most commonly used types of passenger transport are the road and rail passenger transport. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages to be addressed in this work. In order to find concrete solutions, it is necessary to consider the technological elements of passenger transport and also the transport demand for a certain type of passenger transport. With the accessibility of this data, an analysis of the efficiency of passenger transport can be accessed using various indicators that ultimately lead to the most optimal solution.
