Abstract

Napredni sustavi upravljanja prometom osmišljeni su kako bi efektivno i efikasno vodili prometni tok i time doprinijeli ostvarenju primarnog cilja prometnog sustava, a to je sigurnost prometa. Razne tehnologije uz napredna ITS rješenja kao što su upravljanje ograničenjem brzine, putno informiranje putnika i upravljanje priljevnim tokovima uvelike pomažu u rješavanju prometnih problema, kao što su: prometno zagušenje, incidentne situacije, onečišćenje okoliša, vrijeme čekanja i slično. Primjeri implementacija naprednih sustava upravljanja prometom uzeti su iz europskih sustava, a analiza postojećih sustava iz Hrvatske. U radu je prikazan koncept kooperativnog upravljanja gradskim prometnim sustavima. A sam koncept naprednih sustava upravljanja prometom se bazira na Europskoj ITS arhitekturi.

Abstract (english)

Advanced traffic control systems are designed in a manner so they could effectively and efficiently manage traffic flow and contribute towards the realisation of the primary goal of a traffic system which is safety. Various technologies, together with advanced ITS solutions like managing speed limits, on-trip passenger information and managing the in flow assist greatly with solving traffic problem like traffic congestion, incidents, environmental pollution, waiting time, etc. Examples of implementation of advanced traffic management systems are taken from european systems, while the analysis taken from existing systems in Croatia. The paper displays the concept of cooperative management of urban traffic systems. The advanced traffic control system itself is based on the european ITS architecture.
