U ovom radu analizirati će se utjecaj zaštitne opreme na sigurnost motociklista, te će se istražiti osnovni čimbenici sigurnosti u prometu, vrste i konstrukcijske značajke motocikla te će se predložiti mjere za povećanje sigurnosti u prometu. Zaštitna oprema motociklista kao jedini dio pasivne sigurnosti, vrlo je važan dio opreme motocikla što pokazuje i zakonski propisana kaciga kao obavezna oprema pri svakoj vožnji na motociklu. In this work will be analyzed the influence of protective equipment on the safety of motorcyclists, it will be researched the main factors of traffic safety, types and structural features of motorcycles, and it will suggest measures to increase traffic safety. More equipment and traffic safety, a survey was conducted among the motorcycle drivers about traffic accidents and injuries that they had, which protective equipment they use, and what are personal views of motorcyclist about that same equipment. The statistic about dead and injured motorcyclists in the past three years, show very little progress.
