Abstract

Ovaj rad istražuje suvremene metode ispitivanja ispušnih plinova na motornim vozilima, s
ciljem smanjenja zagađenja zraka i zaštite javnog zdravlja. Rad pruža pregled povijesnog razvoja
ispitivanja emisija, zakonskog okvira kao što su Euro 6 norme i američki EPA standardi, te
tehničkih zahtjeva za ispitivanje različitih vrsta vozila, motora i goriva. Detaljno su opisani procesi
izgaranja i produkti izgaranja u benzinskim i dizelskim motorima, kao i njihov utjecaj na okoliš i

Abstract (english)

This paper investigates modern methods of testing exhaust gases on motor vehicles, with
the aim of reducing air pollution and protecting public health. The paper provides an overview of
the historical development of emissions testing, the legal framework such as Euro 6 norms and US
EPA standards, and the technical requirements for testing different types of vehicles, engines and
