Abstract

Na sjevernom dijelu Jadrana svojim prometom i položajem se ističu luke Rijeka, Kopar i Trst. Povoljan geoprometni položaj navedenih luka, također sa institucionalnim i političkim mogućnostima kao i ograničenja rezultirali su njihovim današnjim razvojnim trendom. Luke sjevernog Jadrana su međusobno konkurentne jer su postavljene na istom prometnom pravcu. Njihov jedinstveni lučki sustav predstavlja konkurenciju ostalim lučkim pravcima. Udruženje sjevernojadranskih luka (NAPA) čine Lučke uprave Rijeka, Venecija, Trst, Ravena i Kopar. Ove luke se ključne u olakšavanju trgovine između srednje Europe i Sredozemlja. Sjevernojadranske luke konkuriraju sjevernoeuropskim lukama. Preko sjevernoeuropskih luka odvija se većina robnih razmjena prema Europi, iako sjevernojadranske luke imaju bolji položaj za veću i bržu raspodjelu tereta prema Europi. Kvalitetne strategije razvoja i ulaganje u infrastrukturu sjevernojadranskih luka, doprinijeti će i konkurentnosti luka na svjetskoj razini.

Abstract (english)

In the northern part of the Adriatic, the ports of Rijeka, Kopar and Trst stand out due to their traffic and location. The favorable geo-traffic position of the mentioned ports, also with institutional and political opportunities as well as limitations resulted in their current development trend. The ports of northern Adriatic are competitive with each other because they are placed on the same traffic route. Their unique port system represents competition with other port routes. The Association of North Adriatic Ports (NAPA) consists of the Port Authorities of Rijeka, Venice, Trieste, Ravenna and Kopar. These ports are crucial for facilitating trade between Central Europe and the Mediterranean. Northern Adriatic ports compete with Northern European ports. The majority of trade to Europe takes place through northern European ports, although northern Adriatic ports have a better position for greater and faster distribution of cargo to Europe. Quality development strategies and investment in the infrastructure of the northern Adriatic ports will contribute to the competitiveness of the ports at the world level.
