Abstract

Svrha i cilj izrade diplomskog rada je provesti analizu mobilnih mreža (LTE/UMTS/GSM) na području suburbane četvrti Meterize u gradu Šibeniku koristeći programsku podršku WiMAP kako bi se utvrdila pokrivenost navedenog područja radio signalom. U istraživanju se simuliraju različiti scenariji organizacije mreže, pokrivenosti ćelija, lokacije baznih stanica,fiktivno proširivanje četvrti i dodavanja još jedne fiktivne bazne stanice.

Abstract (english)

The purpose and goal of this paper is to conduct an analysis of mobile networks (LTE/UMTS/GSM) in the suburban district of Meterize in the city of Šibenik using WiMAP software to determine the coverage of this area by radio signal. The research will simulate different scenarios of network organization, cell coverage, base station locations, fictitious neighborhood expansion and the addition of another fictitious base station.
