Cestovna infrastruktura svake države predstavlja ključni element za njezin rast i gospodarski razvoj. Pri tome se mora osigurati visoka razina prometne sigurnosti na svim elementima cestovne mreže, pri čemu mora biti osiguran i kvalitetan prijevoz ljudi i dobara. Stanje sigurnosti u cestovnoj prometnoj mreži očituje se u broju prometnih nesreća i njihovih posljedica. Analizirano je stanje prometne sigurnosti na području državne ceste D50 za razdoblje od 2016. do 2020. godine pri čemu su obrađeni čimbenici koji utječu na nastanak prometnih nesreća te uzroci i posljedice istih. Identifikacija opasnih mjesta provedena je na temelju Metodologije za identifikaciju opasnih mjesta u cestovnoj prometnoj mreži. Abstract (english)

The road infrastructure of each country is a key element for its growth and economic development. In doing so, a high level of traffic safety must be ensured at all elements of the road network, whereby quality transport of people and goods must be ensured. The state of safety in the road transport network is reflected in the number of traffic accidents and their consequences. The situation of traffic safety in the area of the state road D50 was analyzed for the period from 2016 to 2020 where the influencing factors are addressed on the occurrence of traffic accidents and their causes and consequences.
