Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad prikazuje vrednovanje mrežnih performansi za različite razine združivanja. Zbog brzog razvoja mobilne tehnologije i potrošačkih navika korisnika, iskustvena kvaliteta korisnika se mijenja s vremenom. U tu svrhu korištena je razvijena hibridna metoda vrednovanja mrežnih performansi na svim razinama agregacije. Prikazane su najbolje prakse za usporedbu mobilnih mreža. Cilj usporednog ispitivanja je odrediti najboljeg pružatelja usluga ili operatora za određeno područje s obzirom na usluge kojima se pristupa mobilnim telefonom. Provedeno je rangiranje za klase usluga telefoniju, video, prijenos podataka i interaktivne aplikacije poput internetskog pretraživanja, društvenih mreža i dopisivanja. Rezultati prikupljeni na raznim geografskim područjima su pojedinačno i zbirno ponderirano zbrojeni u ukupni rezultat.

Abstract (english)

This paper presents an network performance scoring for different levels of aggregation. Due to the rapid development of mobile technology and consumer habits, the quality of experience changes over time. For this purpose, a developed hybrid method of network performance scoring at all levels of aggregation was used. Best practices for comparing mobile networks are presented. The goal of the benchmarking is to determine the best provider or operator for a designated area with respect of the services accessed with a mobile phone. The tests conducted are telephony, video streaming, data throughput and more interactive applications such as browsing, social media and messaging. The results collected in different geographical areas are individually and collectively weighted in the overall result.
