Abstract

Kako bi korisnici mogli koristiti telekomunikacijske usluge, telekomunikacijski operator je dužan isporučiti korisničku mrežnu opremu. Oprema sadrži usmjernik i digitalni prijemnik. Napretkom tehnologije, potrebno je promijeniti korisničku mrežnu opremu. Danas, ovisno o dostupnosti, pružanje telekomunikacijskih usluga moguće je ostvariti putem koaksijalnog kabela (HFC), bakrene parice i optičkog kabela (FTTH). S obzirom na održavanje korisničke mrežne opreme, postoje korektivno i preventivno održavanje. Bitna karakteristika korisničke mrežne opreme je pouzdanost i životni ciklus. U diplomskom radu grafički je prikazana i opisana usporedba zamjene mrežne opreme zbog kvarova i zbog promjene tehnologije.

Abstract (english)

For users to use telecommunication services, the telecommunications operator is obliged to supply the user with network equipment. The equipment includes a router and a digital receiver. With the advancement of technology, customer network equipment needs to be changed. Today, depending on availability, telecommunication services can be provided through coaxial cables (HFC), copper pairs and fiber optic cables (FTTH). As regards the maintenance of customer network equipment, there is corrective and preventative maintenance. An essential feature of customer networking equipment is its reliability and lifecycle. This master's thesis presents a graphical comparison of equipment replacement due to failures and technological change.
