Abstract

Zbog ubrzanog stupnja motorizacije kako u svijetu tako i u Republici Hrvatskoj, te naglog razvoja prometa, pogotovo cestovnog što dovodi do porasta broja cestovnih vozila tako i povedanja prometnih nesreda potrebno je poduzeti preventivne mjere i aktivnosti u cilju smjanjenja prometnih nesreda, a jedna od tih mjera je primjena prometno-tehničkih elemenata raskrižja u funkciji sigurnosti. Prema istraživanjima oko 30% nesreda se događa na raskrižjima, stoga je potrebno u planiranju i projektiranju raskrižja naglasak staviti na sigurnost prometa, a kod postojedih raskrižja potrebna je rekonstrukcija kako bi se povedala sigurnost prometa. U radu su navedeni prijedlozi poboljšanja projektnih elemenata raskrižja u funkciji povedanja sigurnosti.

Abstract (english)

Due to the accelerated degree of motorization both in the world and in the Republic of Croatia, and the rapid development of traffic, especially road, which leads to an increase in the number of road vehicles and an increase in traffic accidents, it is necessary to take preventive measures and activities to reduce traffic accidents. Application of traffic-technical elements of intersections in the function of safety. According to research, about 30% of accidents occur at intersections, so it is necessary to place emphasis on traffic safety in the planning and design of intersections, and existing intersections need reconstruction to increase traffic safety. The paper presents proposals for improving the design elements of the intersection in the function of increasing safety.
