Abstract

Nagli porast letova u zračnom prometu dovodi do značajnog povećanja štetnih emisija zrakoplovnih motora. Prema istraživanjima međunarodnih agencija očekuje se kontinuirani, ali usporeni rast zračnog prometa kroz idućih 30-ak godina. Štetni utjecaji emisija pokušavaju se smanjiti razvojem novih tehnologija, operativnim i ekonomskim mjerama kao i primjenama alternativnim izvorima energije. Zračni promet je i dalje ovisan o fosilnim gorivima, ali se novim tehnologijama radi na primjeni alternativnih goriva i drop-in goriva kako bi se smanjile emisije štetnih plinova. Kroz rad je objašnjen štetan utjecaj pojedinih stakleničkih plinova na globalnoj razini. Metodama mjerenja emisija zrakoplovnih motora koje su prepisale međunarodne agencije utvrđuju se podaci prema kojima se propisuju međunarodne regulative vezane uz zrakoplovne emisije. ICAO prema Annexu II, III, IV propisuje metode mjerenja te načine smanjenja, regulacije i redukcije štetnih emisija.

Abstract (english)

Sudden increase of flights in air traffic has led to a significant raise of harmful emissions from airplane motors. According to an international surveys, continual, but slower growth of air traffic is expected during the next 30 years. The harmful influence from emissions are trying to be reduced by developing new technologies, inventing better operational and economical measures, but also through applying alternatives sources of energy. Air traffic is still depending on fossil fuels, but with new technologies coming, people are trying to apply alternative fuels and drop-in fuels in order to reduce emissions from harmful gases. Throughout this work, harmful influence of each and every one of greenhouse gases is explained on a global scale. Methods of measuring emissions that have been signed by international agencies are determiningdifferent data in which, according to them, prescribing international regulations related to airplane emissions. ICAO according to Annex II; III, IV provides not only methods of measuring, but also different ways of decreasing regulations and reduction of harmful emissions.
