Abstract

U ovom završnom radu tematike primjena suvremenih tehnologija u intermodalnom prijevozu definiran je intermodalni prijevoz, odnosno njegov razvoj, značajke, zadaća i funkcije. Objašnjen je pojedinačno cestovno-željeznički prijevoz tereta te koje se tehnologije upotrebljavaju s naglaskom na primjenu suvremenih tehnologija. Spomenut je jedan novi pojam koji je u današnjem transportu sve bitniji, a to je kombinirani prijevoz. Objašnjena je primjena suvremenih tehnologija u kombiniranom prijevozu te najvažnije tehnologije koje su unaprijedile pretovar u intermodalnom transportu, a to su paletizacija i kontejnerizacija. Detaljno je objašnjen CargoBeamer sustav za koji se može reći da predstavlja sam vrhunac suvremenih tehnologija u kombiniranom prijevozu.

Abstract (english)

In this final paper, themed the usage of modern technologies in intermodal transport, the term 'intermodal transport' is defined, which includes the definition of its development, features, tasks and functions. Road/rail transport is explained, as well as the technologies that are being used, with emphasis on the usage of modern technologies. A new term important for transport today is also mentioned and that is 'combined transport'. The implementation of modern technologies in combined transport is explained, as well as the most important technologies which enhanced transhipment in intermodal transport and those are palletizing and containerization. CargoBeamer system is detaily explained, for which could be said that represent high-end of modern technology in combined transport.
