Abstract

Broj prometnih nesreća i težina njihovih posljedica, temeljni su kriteriji za određivanje razine sigurnosti raskrižja, određene ceste ili nekog njezinog dijela, odnosno cjelokupnog prometnog sustava. Uzroci nastanka prometnih nesreća mogu biti različiti, a kao najčešći se, uz vožnju pod utjecajem alkohola, navodi brzina vožnje koja je veća od one dopuštene zakonskim propisima ili postavljenim prometnim znakom i brzina vožnje koja nije prilagođena uvjetima na cesti. Osim uzroka na koje sudionici u prometu, odnosno vozači, imaju direktan utjecaj, na smanjenje sigurnosti prometa mogu utjecati i stručnjaci zaduženi za određivanje uvjeta prema kojima se na određenom dijelu ceste odvija promet. Jedan takav problem, na čiji nastanak izravan utjecaj imaju stručnjaci, je neusklađenost ograničenja brzine. Cilj ovoga rada je analizirati ograničenja brzine na državnoj cesti DC1, utvrditi njihovu usklađenost na istim dionicama za oba smjera vožnje te za identificirane kritične lokacije s neusklađenim ograničenjima brzine predložiti mjere kojima bi se pozitivno utjecalo na razinu sigurnosti prometa.

Abstract (english)

The main criteria for security level of intersection, certain road or specific part of road or traffic system in general are number of traffic accidents and the severity of their consequences. There are many different causes of traffic accidents but the most common beside driving under the influence of alcohol, is driving speed higher than the allowed one by the law regulations or the one that is set on the traffic sign and the second speed that is not adjusted to the road conditions. Experts who are in charge for assessment the road conditions, according to which is possible to drive on the specific part of road, can also be the one of the causes of decreasing the security level of traffic beside the direct cause of traffic participants especially the drivers. Incompatibility of speed limits is the problem on which occurrence the experts have the direct influence. The aim of this paper is to analyze the speed limits on the state road DC1, to determine their compatibility on the same road parts for the both road direction and to suggest the measures of positive impact on security level of traffic for the identified critical locations.
