Abstract

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) tehnogloija predstavlja prijenos govora putem IP (Internet Protocol) mreže. Korištenjem različitih kompresijskih metoda ostvaruju se i različiti učinci na govornu uslugu u VoIP-u. Cilj ovog rada bio je na temelju provedene analize usporediti kompresijske metode (kodeke) korištene za uslugu VoIP. More objašnjeni protokoli koji obavljaju određene funkcije kao i sami kodeci. Za proizvoljno odabran primjer korištenja komunikacijske usluge, a na temelju izračunatog prometa i željenog faktora odbijanja poziva izračunat je broj potrebnih kanala koji je korišten u analizi potrebnog prijenosnog kapaciteta izvršenoj na različitim kodecima. Abstract (english)

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology is tranfer of voice over IP (Internet Protocol) network. While using different compression methods, different speech service effects are also gained in VoIP. The aim of this paper was to compare the compression method (codecs) used for the VoIP service based on the conducted analysis. In order to make it possible to conduct an analysis, the components of this technology and the means of communication are explained through the paper.... More Explained protocols that perform certain functions as well as codecs themselves are listed and explained. For an arbitrarily selected example of use of a communication service, based on the calculated traffic and the desired probability of blocking, the number of required channels used in the analysis of the required transmission capacity executed on different codecs was calculated.
