Abstract

Republika Hrvatska se nalazi na veoma dobrom geoprometnom položaju jer je s europskim prometnim tokovima povezana s jedne strane preko rijeke Dunav te preko morskih luka Rijeka i Ploče s druge strane. Na osnovu tih činjenica može se zaključiti kako RH ima povoljne uvjete za razvoj intermodalnog transportnog sustava. Trenutačno stanje željezničke mreže nije baš najbolje. Abstract (english)

The Republic of Croatia is situated in a very good position, since because it is with European traffic flows associated with one hand over the Danube River and across the sea ports of Rijeka and Ploče on the other side. On the basis of these facts, it can be concluded that Croatia has favourable conditions for the development of intermodal transport system. It is necessary to invest great efforts in order to reach the level at which the Western European countries, and through a variety of documents and strategic projects seeks to increase the quality of the intermodal system in the Republic of Croatia.
