Abstract
Upravljačke površine su jedan od najvažnijih konstrukcijskih elemenata zrakoplova. Ovaj završni rad općenito opisuje konstrukcijske izvedbe i aerodinamičke karakteristike pojedinih upravljačkih površina te je dana komparacija pojedinih površina sa konkretnim primjerima na pojedinim tipovima zrakoplova. Primarne upravljačke površine zrakoplova služe za vršenje osnovnih manevara zrakoplova, dok sekundarne upravljačke površine mijenjaju potrebnu količinu sile za upravljanje primarnim upravljačkim površinama ili modificiraju efekte primarnih upravljačkih površina. Sustavi upravljanja zrakoplovom su bitni sustavi pomoću kojih se pilotova namjera za izvođenjem nekog manevra prenosi na odgovarajuće upravljačke površine. Ovisno o veličini i namjeni zrakoplova, primjenjuju se određeni sustavi upravljanja zrakoplovom koji su opisani u ovom završnom radu. Osnovni sustavi upravljanja zrakoplovom su: mehanički, hidraulički, „Fly by wire“ te „Fly by light“.

Airplane control surfaces are one of the most important construction elements of the airplane. Construction and aerodynamic characteristics of airplane controls surfaces are in this thesis described in general. The comparison of some airplane control surfaces have been given in this thesis as well with examples on concrete airplanes. Function of primary control surfaces is to perform basic manouvers, while secondary control surfaces can serve either for changing the amount of force needed to control primary control surfaces or to modify effects of primary control surfaces. Control systems of the aircraft are important systems because they transfer pilots intentions to suitable airpalne control surfaces. Depending on size and purpose of the airplane, different control systems are applied. Basic airplane control systems are: mechanical, hydraulic, „Fly by wire“ and „Fly by light“
