Abstract
Kroz ovaj rad govori se o sustavima za lokaciju i navigaciju u zatvorenim prostorima primjenom bežičnih tehnologija. Takvi sustavi zbog specifičnosti zatvorenih prostora vrlo često ne mogu koristiti GPS tehnologiju te se time stvorila potražnja za novim tehnologijama poput Bluetootha i RFiD-a. Kada te tehnologije koristimo da bi podigli kvalitetu života, posebice onih u potrebi, nazivamo ih pomoćnima. Upotreba pomoćnih tehnologija povećava doživljaj interakcije s prostorom pa samim time postaje izrazito korisna slijepim i slabovidnim korisnicima. Kroz rad analiziramo bežične tehnologije koje nam mogu pomoći u raznim zatvorenim prostorima, ponajviše Bluetooth beacon tehnologija. Prikazana su i neka rješenja sustava koji olakšavaju kretanje osoba s oštećenjima.

Through out the thesis we are going to talk about systems for indoor location and navigation using wireless technologies. Such systems due to their specific indoor requirements often cannot use GPS technology, thereby creating demand for new technologies like Bluetooth and RFiD. When we use these technologies in order to raise the quality of life, particularly those in need, we call them assistive. The use of assistive technology is extremely useful to the blind and visually impaired users. Wireless technology can help us in a variety of indoor spaces, Bluetooth beacon technology is currenty the most efficient. Emphasis is also given on system solutions that facilitate the movement of people with impairments.
