Abstract
Zadovoljavanje potražnje pojedinih poslovnica rent-a-car-a predstavlja zahtjevan posao za čiju je organizaciju potreban veliki utrošak vremena koji se može reducirati primjenom matematičkoga modela. Cilj je postići optimum prilikom zadovoljavanja potražnje koji se u ovom radu odnosi na minimalne udaljenosti na koje se vozila transferiraju, udaljenosti su izražene u kilometrima te su isti osnovica za troškove. Optimizacija se postiže primjenom matematičkoga modela te su napravljene usporedbe sa više slučajeva koji se pojavljuju u praksi, a dva slučaja su prikazan i uspoređena s rezultatima koji su dobiveni pomoću primjene matematičkog modela.

Meeting demand of individual branches in rent-a-car network is a complex task, whose organization is time consuming, and which can be reduced by applying mathematical model. The goal is to achieve optimum while meeting demand, and this paperwork defines optimum as minimal distance for vehicles transfers, where distance is measured in kilometers and they present cost bases. Optimization can be achieved by applying mathematical model; several real-life cases have been compared, two of which are outlined and compared through mathematical model in this paper.
