Abstract

Danas je učestao broj svakodnevnih klimatskih promjena koje utječu na sva godišnja doba, a samim time i na nastanke požara kojih će, prema istraživanjima, biti sve više i više. Ovaj rad sadrži klimatske promjene u proteklih 10 godina, vrste požara te njezin utjecaj na požare. Karakteristike Mi – 8 – MTV – 1 helikoptera dio su rada koje uvode u svijet gašenja požara helikopterom. Tehnologija u zrakoplovnom svijetu je u napretku a samim time je i tehnologija za obavljanje operacija požara noću. Cilj istraživanja je analizirati nove sustave i načine gašenja šumskih požara u svijetu, uporaba naočala za noćno letenje (eng. Night Vision Goggles - NVG) te prednosti i nedostaci istih.

Abstract (english)

Today, there is an increasing number of climate changes that are influencing seasons, and with that, quantity and severity of open area fires. According to recent studies, it will be more of them every year. This thesis reviewed climate changes in last 10 years, classified open area fires, outlined correlation between open area fires and climate change and studied characteristics of Mi – 8 MTV1 helicopter in firefighting missions. Flight supporting technology is evolving continuously, together with equipment that could aid night firefighting missions contains climate change in past 10 years, with types of fires and its impact on fires. The goal of this study is to analyze new technologies, tactics and procedures to be used in wildfire suppression around the globe, usability of NVG`s during night firefighting missions and outline pro`s and con`s for the use of the aforementioned NVG`s.
