Abstract

Distrakcija se općenito može definirati kao nepažnja, a u prometnom smislu predstavlja preusmjeravanje pažnje s vožnje na nešto drugo. S obzirom da popularnost mobilnih uređaja raste u godine u godinu, isti postaju jedan od glavnih distraktora u prometu. Vozači tijekom vožnje često telefoniraju, šalju poruke, pregledavaju Internet, snimaju video zapise ili slike ili pak koriste navigaciju. Prilikom korištenja mobitela vozačima se odvlači pažnja sa situacije u prometu što može uzrokovati sporije reagiranje i lošu procjenu situacije, a time se ugrožava cjelokupna sigurnost cestovnog prometa. Naime, kako preko 90 % informacija u prometu vozači dobivaju putem vida, svako preusmjeravanje pogleda sa ceste na mobitel uzrokovati će nepercipiranje prometne signalizacije, drugih vozila i sudionika u prometu kao i cjelokupne nadolazeće situacije. Cilj ovog rada je primjenom simulatora vožnje i naočala za praćenje pogleda analizirati ponašanje vozača prilikom korištenja mobilnih uređaja tijekom vožnje.

Abstract (english)

Distraction can generally be defined as inattenton, and in terms of traffic it represents a redirection of attention from driving to something else. The popularity of mobile devices is growing from year to year and that's why they are becoming one of the most important distractors in traffic. While driving, drivers often make phone calls, send messages, browse the Internet, record videos or pictures and also use navigation. While using mobile phones, drivers' attention is drawn away from the situation in traffic which can cause slower reactions and bad situation assesments. Thereby, the overall safety of road traffic is being jeopardized. Traffic participants receive over 90 % of the information by using their sense of sight and, for that reason, removing sight from the road to mobile phone results in poor perception of traffic signalization, other vehicles, other traffic participants and the incoming situation in general. The goal of this research was to analyze the impact of using mobile devices while driving on the driver's perception using simulated driving mode and sight-following glasses.
