Abstract

Povećani broj uređaja u svakodnevnoj uporabi koji koriste neki oblik Bluetooth komunikacijskog protokola omogućava provođenje analiza kretanja sudionika u prometu praćenjem njihove jedinstvene MAC adrese uređaja. Signal se bilježi pomoću Bluetooth detektora te se analizira broj pojavljivanja jedinstvene MAC adrese u zoni detekcije kao i njezino vrijeme zadržavanja. Pri izradi ovog rada, prikupljeni podaci iz detektiranih uređaja su filtrirani i analizirani kako bi se moglo odrediti koji od sudionika prometa su vozila, a koji pješaci i/ili biciklisti. Promatrani parametri su broj detektiranih uređaja u zoni detekcije i vrijeme zadržavanja u zoni detekcije. Analizom dobivenih rezultata može se ustanoviti kako se Bluetooth tehnologija može efikasno koristiti za detekciju i kretanje pješaka u prometnoj mreži.

Abstract (english)

The increased number of devices in everyday use that use some form of Bluetooth communication protocol allow the analysis of movement of traffic participants by tracking their unique device MAC address. The signal is recorded using a Bluetooth detector and the number of occurrences of a unique MAC address in the detection zone as well as its retention time are analyzed. In this thesis, the data collected from the detected devices are filtered and analyzed in order to be able to determine which of the traffic participants are vehicles and which are pedestrians and/or cyclists. The observed parameters are the number of detected devices in the detection zone and the retention time in the detection zone. From the obtained results it is possible to conclude that Bluetooth technology can be effectively used for detecting and tracking pedestrians' movement in the traffic network.
