Abstract

Terminali su mjesta na kojima se susreću dvije ili više prometnih grana radi dovoza, odnosno odvoza robe za transport, mjesta za skladištenje i dr. Kontejner je transportna kutija pravokutnog oblika, otporan na vremenske prilike, namijenjen prijevozu i slaganju tereta na način da sadržaj bude zatvoren i tako zaštićen od oštećenja i nedostataka, odvojen od prijevoznog sredstva, a njime se rukuje kao jednom jedinicom i prevozi bez prekrcavanja sadržaja. Kontejnerski terminali su prostori opremljeni odgovarajućom opremom i mehanizacijom, a organiziraju se u velikim lukama, željezničko - cestovnim čvorištima, distributivnom i robno - trgovačkim centrima, tvrtkama, tvornicama itd. Tehničko - tehnološki razvitak je od velike važnosti u svim industrijskim i drugim granama pa tako i na području kontejnerskih terminala. Danas je uvođenje automatski vodenih vozila omogućilo je novi razvojni koncept manipulacije kontejnerima unutar lučkih terminala te označilo novo doba automatizacije na terminalima. Potpuno novi razvojni smjer u tehnologiji rada s kontejnerima uključuje inovativni sustav simulacija i računalnog oponašanja rada kontejnerskih terminala. Na terminalu Brajdica je vidljiv rast manipulacije kontejnera u zadnjih desetak godina, te su započeti projekti proširenja samog terminala.

Abstract (english)

Terminals are locations on which two or more traffic modes are linked for transporting goods, storage places etc. Container is a rectangular transport box which is weatherproof, intended for transporting goods in such a way that they are closed and therefore protected from damage. lt is separated from vehicle and is handled as one unit which is transported without transshipment of its contents. Container terminals are spaces outfitted with appropriate equipment and mechanization and are located in big ports, railway-to-road hubs, distribution centres, factories etc. Technical and technological advancement is of big importance in all industrial branches as is in container terminals. Introducing AGV enabled new concept of development for container manipulation within terminals and it marked new age of automatization for it. Completely new development concept in container manipulation technology includes innovative system of simulations combined with computer based predictions of container movement in terminals. Terminal Brajdica has visibly raising growth of container manipulation numbers in last decade and has projects started for its expansion.
