Abstract

Prijenos informacija u obliku podataka između dva ili više uređaja odnosno izvora i odredišta naziva se podatkovni promet. Da bi informaciju bilo moguće prenositi potrebno je sredstvo za prijenos informacija odnosno mreža. Cilj završnog rada je identificirati vrste i značajke podatkovnih aplikacija, analizirati ponašanje podatkovnih aplikacija za vrijeme trajanja sesije i objasniti utjecaj ponašanja sesija na zahtijevani kapacitet te analizirati utjecaj smanjenja propusnosti na kvalitetu usluge prijenosa podataka. Pritom će biti sagledane aplikacije; elektronička pošta, Internet (engl. World Wide Web - WWW), dijeljenje datoteka, mrežne igre i Internet video.

Abstract (english)

Transferring data information between two or more devices, ie sources and destinations, is called data traffic. In order to be able to transmit information it is necessary to transmit information on network. The end goal is to identify the types and features of data applications, analyze the behavior of data applications throughout the session, and explain the impact of the session on the required capacity and analyze the impact of reducing bandwidth on the quality of the data transfer service. It will be considered applications; E-mail, World Wide Web, file sharing, gaming, Internet video.
