Abstract

Europska unija kroz novu prometnu politiku ima za cilj transformaciju europskih prometnica u integriranu prometnu mrežu koja obuhvaća sve države članice. Kroz osnovnu i sveobuhvatnu transportnu prometnu mrežu nastoji se pružiti bolja dostupnost i mobilnost kojom se potiče gospodarski, socijalni i teritorijalni razvoj. Uz vodni promet, naglasak se daje na razvoj željezničke mreže kao energetski i ekološki učinkovitog sustava. Osnovna prometna mreža utemeljena je na devet prometnih koridora. Kroz Republiku Hrvatsku prolaze dva koridora osnovne prometne mreže: Mediteranski i Rajna – Dunav. Time je Republici Hrvatskoj dana mogućnost modernizacije prometnica na tim koridorima korištenjem financijskih sredstava iz europskih fondova. U tijeku je prva faza realizacije modernizacije željezničke mreže na Mediteranskom koridoru i to na dionici Dugo Selo – Križevci. U tijeku je izrada dokumentacije za modernizaciju ostalih dionica na koridoru. Završetkom cijelog projekta modernizacije pruge na navedenom koridoru, Republika Hrvatska zbog svog povoljnog geoprometnog položaja trebala bi postati važan čimbenik u prometnom sustavu Europske unije.

Abstract (english)

The European Union through its new traffic policy aims to transform European roads into an integrated transport network covering all Member States. Through a basic and comprehensive transport network, the aim is to provide better accessibility and mobility by encouraging economic, social and territorial development. With water traffic, the emphasis is on the development of the railway network as an energy and environmentally efficient system. The main transport network is based on nine traffic corridors. Through the Republic of Croatia, two corridors of the main transport network pass through: the Mediterranean and the Rajna - Dunav. This gives the Republic of Croatia the opportunity to modernize the roads on these corridors using financial resources from European funds. The first phase of the realization of the modernization of the railway network in the Mediterranean corridor is under way, on the part of Dugo Selo - Križevci. Development of documentation for the modernization of other shares in the corridor is in progress. With the completion of the entire modernization of the railway line on the mentioned corridor, the Republic of Croatia, due to its favorable geogeopolitical position, should become an important factor in the European transport system.
