Abstract

Potrošnja fosilnih goriva je sve važnija tema u svijetu. Prema istraživanjima Gilberta Mastersa, nafte ima za još 40 godina. Zbog sve manje resursa fosilnih goriva, potrošači se okreću obnovljivim izvorima energije. Gledajući sa stajališta zračnog prometa, obnovljivi izvori energije još nisu pronašli svoje mjesto u ovoj grani prometa. Zračni promet u Europi raste 1,8% godišnje, te je stoga i potražnja za gorivom sve veća. Ako se potrošnja fosilnih goriva nastavi trošiti ovom brzinom, buduće generacije neće imati nikakve zalihe nafte, te je budućnost zračnog prometa upitna. Svrha ovog rada je analizirati utjecaj razvoja ATM-a na smanjenje potrošnje goriva i održivost zračnog prometa.

Abstract (english)

Consumption of fossil fuels is increasingly important topic in the world. According to Gilbert Masters research, there is only 40 years of oil left. Because of less fossil fuels, consumers turn to renewable energy sources. From an air traffic point of view, renewable energy resources didn't find their spot in these traffic branch. Air traffic in Europe is increasing 1,8% annually, and for these reason the demand for fuel is growing. If the fuel consumption maintains these speed, future generations won't have any oil resources left, and the future of air traffic is questionable. The purpose of these article is to analize the impact of ATM development on the reduction of fuel consumption and on the sustainability of air transport.
