Abstract

Intermodalni promet u Republici Hrvatskoj važan je dio općenitog razvoja transportnog tržišta te samog gospodarstva kroz isti s obzirom na mogućnosti koje intermodalni transport pruža. Krajnji cilj intermodalnog transporta jest odmicanje teretnog transporta s cestovnog prijevoza u smislu smanjenja količine korištenja tog oblika prijevoza kako bi se teret prevozio od točke ishodišta do krajnje točke odredišta. Radi toga se kroz razvoj intermodalnog transporta pokušava povećati konkurentnost ostalih modova prijevoza te pružanja korisnicima siguran, kvalitetan i povoljan način transporta. Zahtjevi su sve većeg globaliziranog tržišta da se kroz više grana prometa pokušava ostvariti povoljan i učinkovit transport traženih dobara. Radi toga prikazani su različiti učinci, postojeće stanje i sama mogućnost razvoja intermodalnog transporta u Republici Hrvatskoj. U usporedbi s ostalim zemljama Europe i njihovim intermodalnim promet Republika Hrvatska u nekim stvarima zaostaje još uvijek, te treba iskoristiti jos maksimalnije geoprometni položaj države.

Abstract (english)

Intermodal traffic in the Republic of Croatia is an important part of the overall development of the transport market and the economy through the same with regard to the possibilities that intermodal transport provides. The ultimate goal of intermodal transport is departing freight transport from road transport in terms of reducing the amount of use of this form of transport to cargo transported from the point of origin to final destination point. Therefore, through the development of intermodal transport is trying to improve the competitiveness of other modes of transportation and to provide users with secure, quality and affordable mode of transport. The requirements are increasing globalized market to more branches through traffic trying to achieve a positive and effective transportation of goods required. Therefore we studied different effects, the current situation and the very possibility of development of intermodal transport in the Republic of Croatia. Compared with other European countries and their intermodal traffic Republic of Croatia in some respects still falls short and should be used more maksimalnije geographical position of the country.
