Abstract

Pomorske luke od davnih vremena predstavljaju ključni dio svjetske trgovine. Luke predstavljaju ulazno-izlazne točke ne samo pomorskog već i cjelokupnog prometnog i logističkog sustava, kao i generatore mnogobrojnih gospodarskih aktivnosti koje su usko vezane uz uvoz i izvoz sirovina, materijala i finalnih proizvoda. Sve veći obujam kontejnerskog prometa u ukupnom pomorskom prometu uvjetuje suvremenu i kvalitetnu lučku infrastrukturu i suprastrukturu. To se posebice odnosi na luke koje u svom opsegu poslovanja žele privući pomorske brodare, odnosno operatere te pružati usluge vezane uz manipulaciju, skladištenje i transport kontejnera. U ovome radu analizirane su tehničko-eksploatacijske karakteristike triju hrvatskih pomorskih luka koje pružaju usluge vezane uz kontejnerski promet, a to su Luka Rijeka, Luka Split i Luka Ploče. Analizirani su kontejnerski terminali, prekrcajna mehanizacija te skladišni i transportni kapaciteti pojedinog terminala. Također je analiziran i kontejnerski promet navedenih luka kroz određeno vremensko razdoblje te su navedeni budući investicijski planovi luka i lučkih uprava za razvoj kako kontejnerskog terminala, tako i kontejnerskog prometa na lučkom području.

Abstract (english)

Since the early day, seaports have been one of the main parts of world trade. Not only are seaports points of entry and exit for both the maritime system and the whole traffic and logistic system, but they are also generators of various economic activities closely linked to the import and export of goods, materials and final products. The increasing volume of container traffic in the total maritime traffic requires ports to have both infrastructure and suprastructure that is modern and of good quality. This is especially important for seaports that want to do business with shipping companies and operators, and provide services of container manipulation, storage and transport. This paper presents the analysis of technical and exploitation characteristics of three Croatian seaports: Port of Rijeka, Port of Split and Port of Ploče. Each seaport's container terminals, loading and unloading equipment, storage and transport capacity was analyzed, as well as their container traffic in a given period of time. Alongside this, the paper presents the seaport's and port authorities future investment plans for the development of both container terminals and container traffic.
