Abstract

Mobilne terminalne uređaje u današnje vrijeme svakodnevno upotrebljavaju osobe svih uzrasta. Razlozi upotrebe mobilnih uređaja su različiti, od slanja SMS- a do igranja zabavnih igara. Napretkom tehnologije, mobilni uređaji pružaju sve veći broj usluga i funkcionalnosti, čime su privukli velik broj korisnika. Gotovo svaki korisnik kraj sebe ima mobilni uređaj u svakom trenutku (u autu ili pri šetnji gradom). U situacijama poput vožnje u automobilu ili vožnje na biciklu, korisnici se često nađu u situaciji da koriste mobilni uređaj, iako je to zabranjeno Zakonom o sigurnosti prometa na cestama (Narodne novine broj 67/2008). Razlog zabrani predstavljaju posljedice uporabe mobilnih terminalnih uređaja prilikom vožnje, kao što su smanjenje koncentracije i smanjenje vremena reagiranja, što u najgorem slučaju može rezultirati prometnom nesrećom. Najveći broj korisnika mobilnih terminalnih uređaja su mlade osobe od 11 do 30 godina. Stoga je u ovom radu provedena anketa namijenjena studentskoj populaciji kako bi se dobio uvid u učestalost korištenja mobilnih uređaja u raznim situacijama te njihovo mišljenje o korištenju mobilnih uređaja od strane drugih sudionika u istim situacijama.

Abstract (english)

Mobile terminal devices are used on daily basis among people of all ages. Reasons of usage are different, from sending an SMS to playing games. As technology advanced, mobile terminal devices got the capability of providing a great amount of services and functionalities, which resulted in great amount of users. Almost every person has a mobile phone by his side at any time of day (in a car, while walking in the street). In situations like driving or riding a car, many people find themselves using a mobile phone, knowing that it is prohibited by the Law of the road safety (Narodne novine broj 67/2008). The reason why it is prohibited is because mobile phones are distracting and decreasing concentration and reducing reaction time which can result in causing an accident. The most of mobile phone users are young people between 11 and 30 years. In this paper an online survey has been conducted for researching student's opinion on the usage of mobile phones in different situations and other people's usage of mobile phones in the same situations.
