Abstract

Za sigurno i uredno odvijanje prometa, odnosno prijevoza robe, potrebno je uskladiti
sve procese intermodalnog transporta, kako ne bi dolazilo do nepotrebnog zastoja robe u bilo
kojem dijelu samog procesa. Oni su izuzetno važni zbog postizanja konkurentnosti
intermodalnih pravaca.
U diplomskom je radu definirana organizacija intermodalnog transportnog sustava te su
objašnjene njegova tehnika i tehnologija. Također, opisano je funkcioniranje intermodalnog
transporta na liberaliziranom tržištu,... More koje je postalo takvo ulaskom Republike Hrvatske u
Europsku uniju. U radu je isto tako napravljena i analiza luke Rijeka te postojeće željezničke
infrastrukture. Osobita pažnja pridodala se analizi propusne sposobnosti te prijevozne moći
pruge Zagreb – Rijeka (M202). Kao glavni dio diplomskog rada, identificirani su sudionici i
procesi u intermodalnom transportu te je iznesen prijedlog idealnog rješenja za uspostavljanje

Abstract (english)

To assure a safe and regular flow of traffic or transportation of goods, it is required to
coordinate all of the processes of the intermodal transport, in order to avoid the unnecessary
delays of goods in any part of the process itself. Each one of the parts of the process is highly
important for achieving the competitiveness between the intermodal routes.
This master thesis provides the general definition of the intermodal transport system, as well
as the explanation of its technique and... More technology. Moreover, it provides the description of
the functioning of intermodal transport on a liberalized market, which is present in the
Republic of Croatia ever since the country joined the European Union. The analysis of the
port of Rijeka and the existing railway infrastructure is also made in the master thesis.
Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the bandwidth capability and the power of
transport of the Zagreb-Rijeka line (M202). The main part of the thesis provides the
identification of the participants and processes of intermodal transport, as well as the
presentation of a suggestion of an ideal solution for the establishment of the coordination in
