Abstract

Upravljanje zalihama predstavlja kontrolu inventara tj. robe na skladištu kako bi segmentom organizacije postigli najbolje poslovne ciljeve. Upravljanje zalihama ne predstavlja samo znanje ljudskog resursa za upravljanjem robe, već predstavlja i procesuiranje podataka o robi na skladištu te sisteme, odnosno programe za praćenje zaliha. Rukovođenje zalihama očituje se zapravo u posjedovanju tražene robe u traženom obliku te u određenoj količini i to na pravom mjestu, u pravo vrijeme sa optimalnom cijenom. U samim aktivnostima upravljanja zaliha javljaju se logistički troškovi kao jedni od glavnih troškova. Logistički troškovi, troškovi su rukovanja, transporta, skladištenja i sa time povezanim administrativnim troškovima, od narudžbe same sirovine, pa sve do isporuke finalnog proizvoda krajnjem korisniku. Profitabilnost kompanije dobrim dijelom ovisi od logističkih troškova iz razloga što logistički troškovi čine značajan dio ukupnih troškova poslovanja.

Abstract (english)

Inventory management represents the control of inventory and goods in stock, in order to segment the organization to achieve the best business goals. Inventory management is not only a knowledge of human resources for the management of goods, but it is also a processing of information on goods in stock, systems and applications for tracking inventory. Stock management actually manifests itself in possession of the requested goods in the required form and a certain amount of goods in the right place, at the right time, with the optimum price. The single inventory management activities occur logistics costs as one of the major costs. Logistics costs are the costs of handling, transportation, storage and the associated administrative costs of ordering raw materials to delivery of the final product to the end user. The profitability of the company depends on logistics costs because the logistics costs account for a significant portion of total operating costs.
