Abstract

Računalne mreže svakodnevno eksponencijalno rastu sa svakim novim terminalnim uređajem koji ostvaruje komunikaciju preko iste. Analizom performansi računalnih mreža uočavaju se nedostaci koji moraju biti aktualizirani novijom tehnologijom ili tehnikom prijenosa podataka kako bi se zadovoljili zahtjevi korisnika. U ovom radu je prikazana bežična računalna mreža, za koju se ispituju mogućnosti i performanse. Analizom dobivenih rezultata zaključuje se da je mreža sposobna za puno veće prijenosne brzine, u odnosu na infrastrukturu mrežnog operatera koja ne omogućuje veću propusnost prema analiziranoj mreži kako bi se prikazale krajne mogućnosti mreže. Analiza je provedena primjenom programskog alata Network Performance Monitor-a koji omogućuje detaljno nadgledanje mreže i mrežnih uređaja, te temelju dobivenih rezultata može se provesti kvalitetna analiza računalne mreže.

Abstract (english)

Computer networks are growing exponentially every day with each new terminal device that provides communication over the same. By analyzing the performance of computer networks are observed deficiencies that need to be updated with newer technology or technique of data transfer to satisfy requirements of users. In this work, was showed a wireless computer network, which is examining the possibilities and performance. With analysis of the results it is concluded that the network is capable of much higher transfer speed, compared to the infrastructure of the network operator, which does not allow for greater throughput to the analyzed network to display an extreme network capabilities. The analysis was conducted using the software tool Network Performance Monitor that provides detailed network monitoring and network devices, and use the results to be meaningful analysis of computer networks.
