Abstract

U doba globalizacije sve je prisutniji trend u kojemu se veliki naglasak postavlja na kretanje stanovništva. Upravo iz tog razloga veliku pozornost treba posvetiti organizaciji prometa, naročito u napučenim gradovima. U samome razvoju treba poštivati temeljna logistička načela planiranja i optimizacije javnog gradskog prometa, kojima se postiže najveća efikasnost u samome razvoju gradskog prijevoza putnika. Naime, logistika kao sastavni dio prometne industrije predstavlja značajan segment za izučavanje, jer uvažavanjem iste i njenom implementacijom u samu organizaciju i planiranje procesa prijevoza, isti može bilježiti kontinuirani rast i razvoj.

Abstract (english)

In the age of globalisation, there is a pervasive trend which places an emphasis on the movement of population. Precisely for this reason, great attention should be paid to the organisation of traffic, especially in crowded cities. Fundamental logistic principles of planning and optimisation of public urban traffic should be respected in the development itself, which achieve the maximum efficiency in the very development of urban passenger transport. Namely, as an integral part of the transport industry, logistics represents a significant segment for studying, because by taking account of and implementing it in the very organisation and planning of the process of transportation, this segment may experience continuous growth and development.
